How You’ll Make an Impact
The Warehouse Manager will lead the daily operation of the distribution center and direct ship operation; work closely with Supply Chain Planning and Logistics to schedule the work between both departments; manage the safety, quality, costs, permits, environmental and staffing requirements; lead efforts to improve the operation, manage PIOs, develop budgets, and lead daily operation meetings In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Scheduling the daily Direct Ship work requirements and Distribution Shipping requirements
- Working closely with SCP teams to optimize flow, inventory, quality
- Staying compliant with safety, environmental permits, inspections, A3 projects, VLEAN, security needs
- Hiring and staffing, team meetings, coordination with WC leadership
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
What You’ll Need
Four year degree in Business/Supply Chain/ Logistics preferred
Minimum of four years experience in a Distribution Center/Warehouse
Proficient in MS office, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to stand 50% of the time and walk in a warehouse environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
