How You’ll Make an Impact

The Plant Engineer will manage plant maintenance and staff, coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance activities and oversee project work. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Contractor oversight / permit writing / coordinating weekend work
  • Capital and non-capital project progression / reporting and maintenance coordination

  • Fire protection system integrity monitoring / repair coordination / forklift integrity

  • Oversight of computer maintenance management software and job dissemination
  • Equipment failure root cause analysis / investigating customer complaints / contractor database management

  • Purchasing high value maintenance materials and ensuring proper delivery/payment/charges
  • Issuing / reviewing operator and maintenance hazard inspections and equipment PM's
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

What You’ll Need

  • BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of five years' experience in related field
  • Experience with packaging equipment, preventative maintenance software, and storage tanks
  • Ability to walk, bend, climb, stoop, some periodic lifting
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
